Who We Are-What We Do

NATCO/Carlton purchased the Machine Tool Division of Natco, Inc. in December of 1990. We started in business on January 2, 1991 as the only manufacturer and supplier of OEM REPAIR PARTS for all the equipment built by the former companies, National Automatic Tool Co. and The Carlton Machine Tool Co. The NATCO Multi-Spindle and Carlton Radial Arm Drilling Machines have been in the work place since the early 1900's and have passed the "test of time" on the job.

Our intention was to downsize the Company and start with a minimum workforce to produce spare parts and to provide service for the equipment in the workplace. We would only build NEW MACHINES (standard NATCO Multi-Spindle and Carlton Radial Arm Drilling Machines.) We started the Company with 14 employees, all of who were old time Natco or Carlton employees. We had a total of over 700 years of experience in our products with this initial group. By late 1999 our number of employees has increased to 32 and our years of experience is now more than 750 years.

As our first year progressed we saw the need to offer our customers less expensive ways to purchase our machines. We initiated a program of used machinery. We offer three distinct classifications of used machines:

  • REMANUFACTURED These machines have been rebuilt to original factory specifications. They are covered by our (1) year parts and labor warranty.

  • RECONDITIONED These machines have been put into good working condition. They are protected by our (6) month warranty.

  • AS-IS CONDITION These are machines that we have taken in trade. We put power on them and replace any obvious broken parts. These machines have a (30) day money back return policy. The purchaser is to pay return freight.

We also can bring your machine into our plant and put it into new machine condition This provides a wide range of purchasing options for our customers, old and new.

As an added service to our customers, we also have a SERVICE DEPARTMENT for on-site service and technical phone support.

If you need to drill holes, we are sure that one of our "old work horses" can do the job for you. Contact us and we will be happy to work with you on whatever your drilling requirements might be.
